About Us

Unique Aerial Solutions was formed in the NT in 2012. Over the last 8 years we have been actively involved in all aspects of Commercial RPAS Operations.

From consultation with foreign manufactures over safety and Australian Air Law compliance to setting up individuals and companies with their own Remote Operators Certificates.

Both our Chief Pilot and Chief Instructor have extensive practical experiences in RPAS, across industries such as Survey, Mining, Construction, Agriculture, Inspections, Filming and Aerial Photography and Military to name a few.

Our Chief Pilot has held a Commercial Aircraft Pilots Licence for the past 24 years and involvement on a commercial level in RPAS for the last 10 years.

Our Chief Instructor has a Military background in RPAS for the last 15 years also.

With a working history and knowledge combined of over 25 years, with instructional and practical experiences working in Australia, UK, USA, and Germany. You can expect to be exposed to some unique real-world experiences throughout your RePL course.

Meet our Chief Pilot and Instructor, Michael Coyne.  Michael is an Australian Air Law and Compliance Specialist in Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) including Drones, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) and Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS).  

Michael can help you (whether you’re an individual, small business, Government agency, or Australian or International Company) with either gaining or maintaining the required commercial licences to operate in Australian skies.

The Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) is an Australian government body that issues a range of permits, approvals and licences to set the guidelines and laws regarding the conduct of aviation activities in Australia.
