Our instructors come from both Civil and Military backgrounds. With instruction and practical working experience across major industry groups. Working in not only Australia but the USA, UK, and Germany, our instructors hold current teaching certificates and have been assessed by CASA to ensure they meet their strict CASA Standards to instruct.

You betcha! Our trainers have an extensive background in the use of Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) across many industries, and we’ve designed our courses to be engaging and hands on. We don’t rely on boring clickity click power points, b ut rather, we provide you with extensive course materials and we bring ourselves us and real-world experiences into the course.

Having both manned and unmanned experience at a commercial level enables us to provide our students with the insights from both sides of Aviation, and a better understanding about why we do the things we do.

Does UASNT invest in the latest learning technologies?

We use the same Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) units found in a real-world working environment. Unique Aerial Solutions is committed to operating only the most up to date equipment on the market.

Unique Aerial Solutions, maintains a policy and a commitment to keeping the class sizes small. For both theory and practical lessons, we have a maximum class size of 5 students per instructor. This helps us engage on an individual basis with each student throughout the course. We also offer after class tuition and one-on-one revision sessions

All our courses are delivered as a face-to-face course at various locations across the Northern Territory. Each student is given a hard copy student material pack. which contains all the material you’ll need for the course and into your first employment role.

Does UASNT offer on-going training to improve my skills and obtain other licences?

Yes. We work with you to achieve more licences, such as Chief Pilot Positions, and Remote Operators Certificate ReOC. and we  are working towards offering more courses and endorsements into the future.

All past students will be notified of new courses and endorsements and will be offered a discount if they choose to take any upgrade endorsement courses.

Does UASNT provide genuine value for money?

Unique Aerial Solutions has invested a lot of time and money to bring you a course that is compliant with all CASA’s current and upcoming standards. We keep our training material up to date and relevant to the  industry as it changes.

However as much as we put into the course, it is up to you what you get out of it. Unique Aerial Solutions is not a quick fix or tick and flick training provided. We take our responsibility to our students and the aviation industry very seriously.

You will find us to be very supportive with systems in place for students that are struggling to keep up. We are here to work with you and help you succeed.

How long does my Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) last?

Your RePL is attached to your Aviation Reference Number (ARN), which you have for life. At this point CASA does not have any renewal fees in place or currency requirements. However different employers may have their own currency requirements. This is something you need to find out about and keep up to date with.

CASA may also introduce fees in the future. Again this is something you will need to keep up to date with. However, as our past students we will endeavour to send you updates and any relevant CASA Regulation changes.

I have, or my business has its own Remote Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) – can we use it in the course?

Yes. However, it must be fit for purpose. It also must be the same or similar to the of RePL you are training for. If you decide to use your own RPAS unit, it must be delivered to Unique Aerial Solutions with all manuals and maintenance records two weeks prior to the start date of the course.

The only exception to this is DYI or home built RPAS units.

I don’t have a drone, but I know what I want and what I want to use it for – can you help?

Yes, we have a long history of consulting with individuals, businesses, government agencies and other major industries helping them decide on the best available and most flexible equipment for their needs.

Unique Aerial Solutions has a retail arm where we deal in Enterprise and Commercial Remotely piloted aircraft system (RPAS) and Payload systems. We do not deal with consumer or entry level RPAS products.
